Up a bit earlier today, 7.30am breakfast. John's breakfast plate s a sight to behold he must know there is a worldwide famine next week and is hoarding cold toast. We got away for 8am and took the x-country rally route to Alton Towers. The weather was great but the park was packed and the queues very long. A few of us waited nearly 2 hours for a ride on RITA only to find the ride breaking down when we were a few minutes away from the front!
All went without a hitch and the only real difficulty reported was getting Luke Nicholls strapped into OBLIVION. I'm not sure how many it took or how long! We all met back up to travel back at 5.30pm. We stopped at Keele services for upper before getting back to Manchester a 8.30pm. It was the quietest trip yet in the girl's bus, no back seat dancing as most flaked out. A few were in bed by 8.45pm the rest by 9.30pm.
Up tommorow for an 8.15 breakfast bfore going to the aquatics centre for the Cassie Paten session. Looking forward to that one.......
Keith
