Day started well with a good breakfast and got to the pool at 9.45am. The pool was full with a Total Swimming class being taken by Kerri-Ann Payne. Cassie Patten arrived and took our session. It was technique based starting off with front crawl and then moving onto butterfly. It was good to see the attention paid by the swimmers and hopefully they all got something out of the session that they can apply to their normal training.
Back to the Youth Hostel for lunch and then the slow drive drve to Total Fitness for the afternoon's sessions. The afternoon session main set was an intense 8 x 100 frontcrawl max effort which meant they could apply some of the technique from the morning session in a tough set a speed. The swimming was followed up by a land circuit and stretching. We all got back around 6.45pm for dinner after leaving a litle late after having to be manualy let out of the car park. Tammy needs to realise that leaving the parking ticket in your back pocket while training in the gym and with all the sweating is not a good idea. The creased, sweaty ticket could not be read by the machine.
Back at the hostel a party of 14/15 year old boys from a football squad has kept the attention of the girls. But Gary snd Tammy still managed to get them into their rooms by 9.30pm.
