Southwold Swimming Club plans to run a combined ASA/UKCC Level 1 Course in Teaching Aquatics and Swimming Coaching in Feb-March 2010. The prime purpose is to train members of the Club but there may be some spaces available for people from outside the Club.
Current dates for Teaching Units are:
Sun 7th Feb - All Day, Mon 22nd Feb - Evening, Thu 25th Feb - Evening, Sun 28th Feb - All Day, Mon 1st Mar - Evening, Thu 4th Mar - Evening, Mon 8th Mar - Evening, Thu 11th Mar - Evening, Mon 15th Mar - Evening, Thu 18th Mar - Evening.
Current dates for Coaching Units are:
Sun 7th Feb - All Day, Tue 23rd Feb - Evening, Fri 26th Feb - Evening, Fri 5th Mar - Evening, Sunday 7th Mar - Evening, Sun 14th Mar - Evening.
Anyone from the club who might want to attend this course should contact holly.payne@southglos.gov.uk, tel - 01454 865813 to register an interest, costs for Club members will be borne by the Club with an expectation that they will volunteer effort during Club sessions after the course. People from outside the Club who might want to attend also need to contact Holly and she will be able to advise if there are any spaces available and on any costs.
