We went to Milfield for the Division One final already pleased with what we had achieved this year. After promotion from Division Two last year we were hoping to be away from relegation, hopefully mid table. The first two rounds obviously went very well but finals are always a bit of an unknown. Plymouth Leander 'B' and Yeovil were always going to be strong. Street were extremely variable from Round 1 and Round 2. therest looked close. We got off to a good start and held well throughout. I am not going to single anyone out this time. The swimmers could not be faulted and everyone contributed to what was a fantastic gala for us. From those that turned out for one relay event to those that swam many more events. You all did your part as well as you could and I am pleased for you all and very proud. The final points were:
1st Plymouth Leander 'B' 293
2nd Street & District 248
3rd Yeovil 244
4th Southwold 227
5th Soundwell 203
5th Truro City 203
7th Torfaen County 'A' 195
8th Cardiff City 'B' 186
This result means that we should finish in 4th place overall I think, an unbelievable result.
Keith :-)
