Southwold Swimming Club was founded in 1973 and currently has around 180 members. We operate out of Yate Leisure Centre and cater for all ages and abilities, from non-swimmers who wish to learn to swim through to Masters who have been in the water for many, many years! The club has reached an important stage in its development, having enjoyed considerable success in the last couple of years, culminating in our entry into the Western Area of The Speedo League in 2004 where we immediately won promotion into Division 2 at the first attempt. We also won the final of the Cotswold Series, the first of what we plan to be a number of successes for the club. As we are a competitive club, we are always looking for new members of all abilities who have a commitment to train hard, improve and then take part in competitions.
