The main site of the Amateur Swimming Association. This is the governing body for swimming in the UK . Southwold is a member of the ASA. If you want up to date information about swimming at National and International Level this is the site to visit. It also has many documents for coaches, helpers etc. |

Here can be found video clips and advice from leading swimmers on swimming strokes. Useful for beginners to get their strokes right from the start as well as for advanced swimmers refining their skills. |

Short Course to Long Course conversion
By clicking on the above you are led to a webpage that allows you to convert short to long and long to short times. Select your option, enter the time and click on “Factors” and the converted time appears. Note that long course times are always slower than short course ones as you push off from the end of the pool fewer times. |
